The ribbon is the next ninety minutes. Its height is the chance of rain, and above the top dotted line rain is likely. Its colour is how hard it would fall: greens are light, yellows and oranges moderate, reds and magentas heavy.
To forecast for your block rather than your city. The app only looks while it's open and sends only the coordinates. You can say no and choose places by name: tap Change next to the place name.
Long-press your home screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and find Ninety Sky. It comes in small, medium and large sizes and follows whichever place you last looked at in the app. It refreshes more often when rain is close.
The contiguous United States. It's built on NOAA's radar mosaic and models, which cover the lower 48 states.
